Rude Awakening

I awake on the floor next to a blond young man and George.

They were both still asleep.

I look around confused. What happened?

There was blood in my hair turning it a faded brunette color. My pants were torn. Part of my half long sleeve shirt was gone. A piece of glass stuck out of my sock.

I realized what I was forgetting.

Jinx.

She wasn't on the other side of the glass.

I stand up quick and just fall flat on my face instead.

The yound blond man awoke with a moan.

"I'm sorry if I woke you." I said. I'm such a klutz.

He shook his head slowly. "No, no. You're fine. Chester." He held out his hand to me.

"Tash." My eyes drifted to another young black haired man in the corner.

"Him? That's Mike." Chester told me.

I gasped.

"Where's Jinx?"

Chester's eyes suddenly grew week.

"No one knows. Neddal took her during the night."

I lay my head down on the floor staring at the ceiling.

Mike and Chester sat on each side of me.

At that point George was up and moving and just lay next to Mike.

"Why are you here? Did Neddal kidnap you to?" I asked.

"Us? We could leave any time." Mike replied.

"Than why are you staying?"

Chester stared at me with his complicated eyes. "I love her." He whispered.

Mike and George exchanged a glance.

"I've only known her four days. But, I know it's true." Chester continued.

Mike sat up. "You guys should go into your ship to wash up. You're in bad shape." He said.

George and I just nodded and walked outside slowly.

I changed into clean clothes but didn't wash my hair because it was no use.

As I was putting on my tie the tracker went off.

"GEORGE!" I screamed.

Apparently George was in the shower because he was in nothing but a towel.

Jinx was 22 miles away.

I ran inside as fast as I could.

"GUYS! JINX IS LIKE 2O MILES AWAY!" I yelled out of breath.

Chester and Mike jumped up almost causing Chester's lip ring to fall out.

We finally found her.

Mike and George went outside to battle Neddal.

Chester and I went inside to see Jinx.

I tried to touch her.

There was a field between us.

Jinx screamed as I could only stand silently.

Chester tried to hug (or kiss) her and he couldn't touch her either.

George than bust in throwing his lightsaber Jinx's way and it broke the field.

Chester wrapped Jinx up into his arms.

Me? I almost fell back on the floor fainting. George had to hold me up.

"Come on!" Mike yelled opening the front door.

Chester still held Jinx is his arms as George and I ran as fast as we could.

Two days later I sit on the holo writing a song. The best all week.

Suddenly my best friend's kaufin up blood in the sink.
