Leave Out All The Wrest

I dreamed I was missing. I was with Liam. He was so scared. But, no one would listen. ‘Cause no one else cares. I stop in the middle of my foot steps. Liam tapped my shoulder to make sure I was okay. I shake suddenly and keep on walking. Liam continues to hover behind me like the way a mother wolf is with her pup. Suddenly a woman with tussled acorn brown hair rushes in front of Liam and I. “YOU’RE THE JEDI THEY SENT!” The woman shouted with joy. I nodded. “Yes… Is this very serious?” I ask. I feel stupid for asking now. “Serious!? We’ve been starving and losing all hope. You could die saving us!” Liam becomes frightened by the woman’s haunting words and stares at her. “What?” Liam blurts. “You two could risk your own lives, or save hundreds.” Liam looks down at his boots trying not to let me see the tears in his eyes. I nod beginning to turn in anger away from this woman. “Thank you for your help…” Liam and I stop at a bridge. The wind was getting worse causing the water to swish around like a teenager does soda in their mouth right before they gulp it down. “Liam? I need you to do something for me okay?” I ask the young padawan. He tries to blink away some tears. “Sure.” “When my time comes…. Forget all that I’ve done…. Help me leave behind some reason to be missed.” I whisper refusing to stare into his blue eyes. “Don’t resent me… But, when you’re feeling empty…. Keep me in your memory…. Leave out all the wrest.” Liam just nods and wraps his arms around me. Liam sits in my office on the ship while I lay on the couch with a blanket reading Sleeping Beauty. “I found out why this planet seems so damaged.” I jump up from the couch, to Liam’s side. “Apparently they had a hurricane last summer.” Liam states “We have to help these people.” I say my words flowing through the room. I awake from a brief nap and pull on my boots. I felt strong on the surface, not all the way through. Liam asleep in the guest bedroom, he had a rough day. I open his door slowly. I knew exactly how far to open it before it creaked. “Liam… You stay here… for your safety.” He turns over nodding and dozes back off to sleep. There was a line to visit the Chancellor of the planet. I step way into the back of the line letting each and every person cut me.
